After a tour in the Air Force Security Service in the 70's Kelley worked as a translator and analyst in the Washington D.C. area and received a scholarship to complete his studies at Georgetown University with an emphasis in International Relations.
Returning with his family to California in the late 80s, Kelley jokes that he then experienced a mid-life crisis at 40, quit his government job, and got into a career in Real Estate. Fortunately, the career change was successful.
Built on the lasting relationships he has with his clients, many who become friends, Kelley received the Centurion and Double Centurion sales awards (top 1 percent Nationwide) every year during his 29-year association with the franchise. Clients include buyers and sellers, investors, developers, and builders.
He has had a deep appreciation for design and architecture, buying out print design books even before his real estate career, an interest which led to involvement in the development of 29 beautiful homes, many on the Monterey Bay, designed by Cove Britton and Martha Matson of Matson-Britton Architects.
